So here's Heisy from Breaking Bad. That's my entry for the CC6 over at NextGen Sprites where I just needed to make a portrait. Got the idea kinda late from secret santa wishes, so I rushed it a bit. You'll notice the palette is the exact same one as the one Snake saluting. But meh.I really love that show ! One of my all time faves. One of the best descent to evil story ever told. And one of the rare cases where a show ends once the story they wanted to tell does, without being dragged on for years.

Completely agree. One of the few instances in American TV where a show kept getting better with every season, and it never lost it's edge once. I liked it so much I litterally bought the T-shirt, and the Heisy action figure, and the "Science, Bitch" mug

Yeah I think so too. Spriting realistic hair is a real pain, and making it connect with skin is just as hard.

one tip ive seen is to shade as a big blob, then add finer details between the shades (sort of like aliasing)

Looks really good, the shading is on point and it's got a good choice of colors.
The expression is also very intimidating/serious, which totally fits the character, great job
