That's all I cared for
I was happy
But I no longer fall
Victim to every word

I was skeptical
"I think" two words
are which that make
The heart forgiving
I couldn't believe her
But a wise woman told me
That I wanted to believe
To take those two words away
"I like you too."
She's handing me a chance
A ticket
To her
to her
I'll find the train
The plane, the bus
That accepts this ticket
Take it to her
I'll feed it to a horse
and ride it to her
I'll keep it in my pocket
And run to her
I'll grow weary
But all I need to do
Is glance back at that ticket
Read what it says
"I like you too."
And I know I'll be there
When no one else is
I'll always be there
