Happy Valentines Day~

:3 for V-day this year, I re-did a sketch that I did for v-day last year.

I still really like the old one. :'D Before I sketched this I was going to just color the one from last year, but ... there's some pros and cons about both versions, really. XD I WILL ADDRESS THEM NOW:

Verison 1:
Pros: The Rose is better.. and somehow I really like how I used to draw irken faces, like eye positioning and stuff. I can't seem to pull that off anymore. This older version seems rounder and cuter.
Cons: a Few mistakes, and they're both like.. too far appart from each other. It makes it seem like Rubis was just standing there with some stuff, not really "trying" to be suave. XD

Version 2:
Pros: Ru's leaning in to Saphy more, better layout of characters... Rubis's finger positions make more sense. The whole idea of the picture seems to come together more than the last one.
Cons: My style of Irkens has become more... "raw". It's not rounded like it used to be, which in SOME cases is good... (like for my character Skye) but when I'm drawing characters like Rubis and Saphy (who are SUPPOSED to be cute and rounded) it doesn't look as cute as it could have been. The rose also doesn't look as great as the last one.

XD haha. Over all I think I like this new version best. :3

and.... *___* I LOVE SHADING SAPHY'S EYES AND I NEED TO DO IT MORE OFTEN~ they're pretty. ;0;

:B hehe. Rubis is trying to be suave. LOL. Rubis isn't so good at being someone he's not. which is why Saphy's like ""

Oops. I forgot to bring down the shading on the rose... DX too dark now. oh well, it's too late to change that cause I .. merged all the layers. XD;
