She was born as the tenth child of a semi-wealthy Roman family. As the youngest she was spoiled and loved by many both within and without of her family. Married off when she was thirteen, her husband tried to break her or her free-spirited nature and nearly succeeded. However, that was cut short as four years of marriage along with everyone she knew came to an end when the empire fell. During that time she was turned. The first twenty or so years were incredibly difficult. She had to learn to control herself while still being ordered around by her new "husband" who was possibly more controlling than her first. The difference between the two marriages, other than the obvious vampirism in her and her new husband, was that she held within her a spark of defiance that kept her personality in tact. Octavia would bide her time and when she realized that she had gained her Daylight Immunity was when she decided to be free. She wouldn't kill her sire but she would give it to him good. Pinning him beneath the earth surrounded by silver, she left him and went her own way. She has had the last one thousand five hundred and four years to herself. She gets lonely sometimes but she's picked up a hobby or two during that time that can bring her joy. Receiving her invitation to Clover seemed like something fun worth looking into, and she of course decided to stay as soon as she saw how adorable it was.
