you can minimise searching with category (left side panel of deviant art page) like this:
Customization/Icons/OS Icons/Windows
most of the folder icon makers submitted their folder icons into this category, if you don't use this to minimize, you may end up lots of unrelated things. hope this helps!

i am not sure what you mean, all 3 folder icons are 512x512 pixels.
you can try different converter and see if that works.

well, i tried with Wolverine movies...

these 3 folders were experimental, and they turn out ok i guess, however i dont think i will make any more of this kind, not easy to find banner artwork that span through all movies in one, i can think of perhaps a movie title across three folders, and that visually work.
however i want to see batman dark knight, star wars, spiderman, x-men, avengers, marvel superheroes, dc comic heroes, transformers, hunger games, harry potter, lord of the rings, terminator, robocop, hobbit, final destination, walking dead, supernatural, fringe....etc
any folder icon creator wish to try?

this was obviously a unique situation and you pulled it of really well, so good job thinking outside the box,
no more are necesery, this is a one off, and i am happy to be able to use them in my collection.
