Void and light are two types of energy in WoW who are nearly complete different from each other. Hiting a void creature with a light spell hurts way more than a normal beeing. Void energy alsow seems to be involved in most kinds of necromancy. This is alsow the reason why the forsaken have lore wise only shadowpriests. They can use the light, but it realy hurts or damages them. The same counts for DKs (1. Priest/Paladin ,,heals" a death knight. 2.Death kinght has a new ,,weapon" to beat up his enemys.)
