Psh, it happens.
I've lost count as to how many changes a handful of my characters have gone throughout the years.
I see it as a form of "them growing up alongside their creator" rather than just being "indecisive". X'D

But I mean, it's only obvious, isn't it?
Take my boy, Yue. He had long beautiful hair, like me in RL (only mine was curly). He had NO sense of fashion, because I had none, etc XD
Then a few years back, I decided to finally change something about myself. Chopped off the hair. No regrets! Realized I liked goth fashion, but pastel colors; got some piercings (which I never saw myself doing before).
It felt so nice, and liberating...like a weight coming off my shoulders...and head. Lol
After some soul-searching, I decided to incorporate some of these changes in Yue as well.
If you think about it, as artists, every character we create...we do give them a little something that's already apart of us. We might not realize it right away, but, every OC does have a bit of their creator in them. That's what makes them unique. ^ - ^
