A couple of years ago I decided that there wasnt enough pictures or knowledge about all the wonderful mythical creatures that are around so I started drawing and writing about them all. Now those pictures are severley outdated, and I never got around to finishing it, so I decided I would try again, with all the pictures in lead.

So here we have the Greek Sphinx, who plagued Thebes by not letting visitors in unless they could answer the famous riddle of "What is it that has 4 legs in the morning, 2 at noon, and 3 at night?" Her death was eventually caused by Oedipus who answered the riddle correctly. So distraught by this the Sphinx threw herself on the rocks that she had for so long lived and was killed.
