This a one of a kind patch I was given a couple of years ago by a guy names Lance Yoshioka, a Corporal in the USMC, at a winter camp called Aviation Challenge.He told us that a Sergeant Couldn't pronounce his last name and cut it in half and the Corporal became "Yoshi".
He only had 128 of these patches and we (the campers) really wanted one, but he said no and that he only gave them out on special occasions and to certain people.
The end of the week when we were being presented with certificates for our accomplishments, he walked up to me and pulled the velcro backed patch off and gave it to me.

I know so many people who'd love to own a patch like this one, love the story that goes with it. adds a lot of back ground to why it is and not just the its cool factor.

Sergeant. T'is spelled Sergeant. Unless you're French, of course. Then it's Sergent.
