Description
This is my first CG using the tablet.... Still need more practice.... anyway I'm quite happy with the outcome. It was a time consuming piece... but I learned a lot from it.Used SAI for the sketching and inking, then added some base colours. The rest was coloured using PhotoshopCS4.

Well..Its certainly a weapon used in ancient times in malayan Islands like ancient Indonesia, Malaysia and others..Some of them I heard can move by themselves like they are living weapons...Especially Imperial Kris..and some are said to have their own guardians...
Thts wht I heard from TV..ahahahahaha...
But its still used in traditional ceremonies nowadays...

lol thanks for the info about it. Never knew they were like a sacred weapon... I like ancient artifacts, and I think the Kris looks awesome. Really nicely designed.
Well I wanted a short dagger-like weapon. There aren't many fancy daggers out there... anyway, then my friend suggested using a kris. (btw his name is Kris too).

But its kinda odd u knw...A japanese holds a kris..ahahaha..but its sure is a cool idea..XDDDD

But I didn't use any references for this one. Thank you, I wasn't sure whether the flowers used was appropriate or not. I attempted to colour them as well, but it went wrong, so I stuck with white.. lol
