Very nice shot. The thing that stands out most for me here, beyond colours or composition or anything like that, is the contrast between light and dark; it makes this so much more striking than a 'soft' image. Lovely work...

I love the colors and as someone else said...the contrail somehow adds to it. The ripples look lovely, but I can also see Windy's point about the silence. I have a laptop screen and the picture changes from stillness to activity as I scroll down. I think that is just a matter of personal preference.

I understand your point... I should have also used a faster shutter speed to stop the whole image... for the lightning, I guess it can't be helped... in this moment I'm really a fan of high dynamic ranges
