If you're talking about the Traitor's Child, the mantis who's grave she has you deliver the flower to, that was actually her lover, not her daughter.Β The traitor who's child she was is presumably the Traitor Lord.

Nope, she was in love with the Traitor's child, and the Traitor Lord didn't approve their relationship because Ze'Mer was external, not from their traitor tribe. I get the confusion tho, because her sentences are way too much formal and hard to decipher.Β

Where are you getting that from?Β Because the Grey Mourner's dialogue is pretty clear on the point.Β She repeatedly refers to the one you deliver the flower to as her lover and that she has been dead for a long time.Β She also refers to her as female several times, so it's definitely not the Traitor Lord (who is male).

Note the shape of the horns.Β That's not the Knight, it's the Hollow Knight.Β This is probably back before the fall of Hallownest, when the Hollow Knight was little.

I think at some point the game states he was groomed to perfection probably trained beside these five knights.
I wonder how they felt when their fellow knight was sacrificed to the infection.
They probably didnt know all the details, after all we know the pale king wanted to keep as much as he could a secret and we dont know when the knights parted ways.
But i'd like to think even if they were loyal to the king they coud not serve him after what he has done to one of their own, and did not follow him after the kingdom fell.
Maybe they also felt responsible for not being able to do anything and felt guilty that the hollow knights sacrifice was needed and thats the reson they didnt leave the kingdom.
i wish we could get a glimpse of hollow nest from the "good old times"
i like your pic it depicts more happier time, it really is needed when most of the lore is sooo sad
i wish we knew more about that time...
great now i want a comic or a 12 part anime of this game...
