I had accidentally started to animate this but LMAO I was crazy for thinking I could ever finish that before the deadline xD have my messy wip anyway ~

Riley's choice of class had been quite limited. He was sure he could have pushed his dear mare to grand prix level well before training for this show or even prepared for freestyle but there was no point in it if his results would have been... "tainted" by a certain nuisance who he couldn't even bear to look at.
  They entered the arena. Riley had a bad feeling about it, he knew he was tense and his mare reflected that just perfectly, not even Zazu's encouraging words could have helped at the warm-up. Although it was anything but the competition itself that made him so uncomfortable and frustrated. Normally the competition would've spurred him on, made him forget about any other problem in the world, kept him focused- But that trick wasn't working today of all days. Part of him wanted to simply give up... At least he could save himself in the routine of the training, knowing every tiniest movement by heart although his commands were barely visible yet all about precision. He had never needed to force Queeny to do anything, all he did was suggest a move, give her enough guidance to rely on and usually she would accept it as soon as she understood. She felt happy about the attention they were getting and perhaps it was her dedication that pulled Riley out of it, that could summon his attention. After all it would be quite rude to ignore her efforts, wouldn't it? He started to loosen up gradually and found himself wondering if it was already too late...
