Finding Shinto was a once in a lifetime opportunity and Zazu had seen that right away. And he wouldn't let any one man get in between that. And oh he could get scary if he had something to fight for, something to protect. It had come as a shock to find out how much family he truly had only a couple years ago and he valued that welcome surprise over everything, therefore that was the only reason why he remained so contained, so patient with everything Lyo was putting them through. But he was increasingly getting a bad feeling about it - the more Lyo would see him as a 'threat' the worse it would get. But tonight was not the night. This was supposed to be Shinto's evening, no, their evening and he wasn't going to obsess over a threat that wouldn't strike tonight either. Shinto was one of the very few women who could see who he was, who wasn't appalled by his scars or missing leg, his sheer size or the fact that his past wasn't the easiest either, much like hers. And in return she kept surprising him and he found himself excited to learn more about the woman that she had become, too. With his lack of leg he wasn't as good at dancing as he used to but he had actually practiced using his prothesis just for that night. He wanted to be able to ask her for a dance confidently and carry her thoughts away from the trouble so she could remember it fondly.

so happy bout this collab, was such a blast to do, thank you guys I didn't think signing up for the background would involve this much detail and no photobashing but it was a fun challenge
