Story:
The night was quiet, the horses had calmed down, they were just even more attentive to their surroundings now. In the morning Riley checked on Raphael's and Ragna's wounds once more, they buried the dead horse and said goodbye, wishing each other a hopefully peaceful ride back.
But when Riley went to saddle the horses, they started acting a bit strange. Dáma just like Davaj started sniffing his wound, the mare neighing, sounding quite concerned about her two-legged. Riley only grunted silently and stepped away: "It's fine, stop that, it'll be gone in no time." He felt a bit guilty about what happened. How didn't he notice them surrounding the group?? Or not notice them at all in the evening? He should have known better, this was a light-headed mistake.
The end of the race was close enough, none of his horses were injured, so why not attempt to finish. He got on Davaj's back again. He did notice though - something felt weird - and he didn't like it.
