Description
Wow, can't believe this year is over already! This was such a great year - my first full year with digital art tooMonthly review:
January/February - Kinda slow months since I was returning from a 3-week vacation without my tablet, I tried to become a little more active in dA by the end of February by drawing for other people. I thought about opening commissions around this time, but never got to it.
March - Pretty active month, I was super inspired by music (I had this album mix on repeat while drawing - listening to those songs is nostalgic to this time for me now). I also got more into painterly-ish stuff. Still thinking about commissions w/o any progress.
April - One of the lowest points of the year, I don't think I drew anything digitally this month. I also got into League of Legends (not the game itself though, only the characters).
May - Got some motivation back this month, began to commit a little more with art trades for the first time. Experimenting more with painting. Swtiched from CS5 to CS6 (and had to transfer all of my brushes and tools and setting and shit :'D it was fun to experiment more in PS though!)
June - More art trades and stuff I think. I don't remember a lot about this month. I might've experimented with animation around this time.
July/August - Highest peak of the year since I was on summer vacations. Spent most of my time working on the nuzlocke to achieve my longest updating streak since 2013 - one update weekly for a month, I think! Pretty big achievement for a slow updater like me.
September/October/November - Lowest peak since April. Doing mostly personal art for IB Art, most unfinished (October is an unfinished studio piece, November was a little drawing I did for my school's newspaper). Got to experiment a lot with painting and got a better grasp of it. Also super stressed about putting a portfolio together. These months kinda sucked.
December - Still low, but considering many ways to get back on track. Also started getting a little more serious with traditional media, like pens and markers and stuff. Been doing a lot of gesture and figure drawing lately - decided that I won't get anywhere if I don't take practice seriously.
TL;DR I did a lot of experimenting with comics, style, painting, and media this year. I improved a lot despite the low months, and decided to take practice to the next level.
My only resolution for next year, art-community-wise, is to be more active here (give and receive more feedback, update more frequently, and just be more active in the community overall while still managing to have a life outside).
ONWARD TO 2015! Let's make this a kick-ass year!

Whoa, I didn't realise how much your art changed through 2014 until I saw this! Stylistically, I think it looks like you've come to develop a more unique art style which is really awesome! Keep up the great work!
