Yes Alex got a pokemon translator early on in the comic, he can sorta understand torch and Dianna without it though X3

I bet he'll get better and better at understanding his friends without the translater until he doesn't need it anymore. Especially since he spent a bit of time as a fennekin. :3

It will be a little while before i make the second spin off of axis being the human trainer in what will be called NuzAxis and alex will be his starter pokemon XD

No, no. I mean, just the thing with Alex speaking the Pokemon language. I think it's SO COOL that he can understand a bit of what his friends are saying even without the translator. I think it's something that really makes him unique and likeable!
