This is the Seventh page of my REVAMP of my old comic. Which can be found hereWow so bright...my EYES...aHHh....Ok This was hard to get out i've had a bad case of art block guys..sorry.
Oh and I know it looks bad but trust me it's only a burn effect and not actually burning ALIVE X'D

Reminds me of the regeneration power in Doctor Who. It looks like her personality has changed as well as her appearance. Great page though, can't wait for the next one.

I can imagine some saying that the revamp might not set up the plot as well as the original, and may call this scene an excuse to throw in a deus ex machina/Chekhov's Skill plot device if they wanted to be very brutal.

This was in the old one too... =_=; If people don't like it they can leave. Plain as that My Idea around the comic was about jewel and her father and brothers experiment and the other one turned into a soap-opera. I am doing this how i Please this time.

Granted, this scene is more of a trope than a cliché, but it has been used quite often in action/suspense/drama/thriller types of media.

Tropes are everywhere in our rp/stories/comics. I may try to collect a huge collection of tropes for the series at some point. Though that would involve a lot of spoilers.

Too bad it behaves and is used more like a MacGuffin alongside the Dark Ball in its current position, although it's(the Dark Ball) more like something between the two categories.

Romance is still good if executed right, and the original definitely showed good execution. As for how to show less of it, maybe you could focus on sideplots that weren't in the original, but could've happened in its timeframe.

Yeah that's what I'm doing. I wanted it more about the actual plot. Which is against Rupert. The one in the story was actually suppose to have a bigger part then one appearance.
