So this one is completely out of order with the story so far, but I really love what AzuL-J has done with it and decided to post it (I didn't want to wait the I-don't-know-how-long for me to finally get everything in order xD)

Home, where it all began, the library tree was the place that our story truly began. From the first full meeting of the mane 6, to the countless adventures and stories that have filled these hallowed walls. Friendships grew, lessons were learnt and ultimately love was found under this golden oak. Disaster after disaster this tree always stood as a sanctuary, a base of operations for our candy colored protectors of the realm. But against harmony's greatest enemy, our fabled tree saw it's end.
When one door closes another opens, and while a new home has risen to take this ones place, Zephyr and Twilight will never forgot the memories they forged in this sacred place.

(They can always rebuild... right?)

I'll probably add to/change this when I finally do get up to it, I just didn't want to leave an event as meaningful as this without a small description to go with it.
