Description Puffy, or rather known as William Davis, works on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad in Texas (Previously known as the Fort Worth & Western). He is one of 2 surviving Southern Pacific T-1 Class 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler's, which originally worked on the Fire Train in northern California and Donner Pass. Him and his sibling, 2252, were rebuilt at the end of the steam era for Southern Pacific exhibition trains. He worked on the Texas State Railroad from 1974 to 1979, and was restored once again by the Fort Worth & Western in 1992. Ever since, he's been operated on the GVRR, and enjoys rolling through the Texas countryside.

I've seen this loco and 771 (As UP4014 said below, she is a nice locomotive) many times, and each time the old lady with all the brass has been inside. Ah well, one of these days 2248 will be in steam when I'm there.

My first steamer was a steam-powered Thomas replica at the Valley Railroad, in Essex, CT. But, if we were talking about the mainline, then my first mainline steamer was NKP 765.

My OC Mary (SP 771) also lives in Grapevine. She is one of 4 surviving Texas & New Orleans Mikados and is on display next to the GVRR. She is real good freinds with Will (as I call him). I've met Mary in real life and she is the sweetest engine you'll ever meet!
