Not really. In the SPNG, mainly 1 pony will look after the child, though Redheart will bring Ivy to Rarity every now and again, mainly so Ivy can learn how to use her magic as Redheart is unable to

So it is just part of the universe that the family is usually separated?Ā Do they have bad relations or did Rarity do this for a favor?Ā Are there any actual parents in this universe who watch over their children together or is it all separate. Ā I'm absolutely okay with this.Ā I just also like to learn the backstory behind how the children'sĀ parents got together or actually made the child.

SPNG stands for Single Parents Next Gen, so families are normally just the one parent and their child/ren. Rarity did this as a favour for Nurse Redheart, and she is happy woth teaching Ivy magic, along with her son (coz Rarity has a son too)
