I let my camera fall back onto my chest, and sigh as the world comes back into focus. Taking pictures is like a drug to me. As soon as I get done, it's back to the same boring drudge of the real world. All of the kids in the second grade class all seem happy enough, I suppose life is like their drug. I can't ever remember being happy like that in school, but then again, I never had a teacher like her.
Her hair was short, just passed her ears, and she often imitated many of the girls in the class and wore it in twin pigtails. "Ms. Georgie! Ms. Georgie! It's lunch time!" the teacher's pet calls out. I'd seen him before, they always stick out first to me. The kids that aren't good with socializing, they're more meant for the army. Always looking for a boost up from a higher power, I guess he would make a good priest or whatever too.
"Fine, fine! Line up by the door... Shortest to tallest! Go!" she called, and clapped. The children scrambled to the door, laughing and comparing heights. They had already done it once for the picture, so it didn't take them long. "Good, now, walk down to the lunchroom quietly, like mice!" she said, pretending to eat a piece of cheese or something. The kids laughed and all did the same things, filing out the door.
"So, how'd the pictures turn out?" she asked, noticing that I was fiddling with my camera. "No fingers up noses, no bunny ears, I hope?"
I was to busy trying to convince myself what I was seeing was only in my head. There was no way that what was in the picture could be real. All of the children seemed to be rotten and screaming, some fighting with others, some just falling and screaming as invisible attackers scratched at them. She looked over my shoulder.
"Oh my god." She said. "Frankie is doing the bunny ear thing to Sarah! You can shop that out, right?"
And like that, the picture was back to normal. "Yeah, it'll be easy. I'll throw it in for you, uh... Ms. Georgie." I said awkwardly, looking away from my camera. "No problem."
"My name is Charly, I know, It's a guy's name, but I like it." she explained. "And your name isn't just Mr. Photographer, is it?" she asked, to which I replied with a business card.

That was quick! Expect more horror, more chills, more awkward conversation in the next chapter, which could be up tonight if enough people like it!
(That means tell your friends!)
