Description
Pikachu and Pichu 2.0. They are /original characters/, not redraws of Pikachu and Pichu to be the way I'd like them. Pikachu 2.0 featured on one of my recent journals.

This is a ref sheet, hence the lack of shading.

The 2.0 Pokemon are a sort of mad science project that goes against the laws of physics. Some crazy dude was displeased with the lack of creativity and power in Pokemon designs and so set about remaking them, probably to take over the world or some such business. But, crazy as he is, he usually forgets about the Pokemon soon after he creates them. Pikachu 2.0 was the first among them created, and therefore holds a sort of loose rule over them.

At the moment, there is only one known Pikachu and Pichu 2.0. There has never been any more. There's no Raichu 2.0 either.

They each have their own personalities. They are believed to be siblings, but since they not anyone else knows about their parents, that fact has yet to be proven. What is known is that their electrical powers far exceed those of normal Pichu and Pikachu.

Pichu 2.0 always aspired to be like his sister in every way (although he hasn't tried evolving yet... and it's unknown if he even can.) He tries to mimic her nonchalant, aloof attitude, but fails miserably. He enjoys fighting, though, and freely uses his electrical powers, often with disastrous results. His tail and ruff poof up when he uses electricity. (No, he's not based on Pinkie Pichu. Most likely.)

Pikachu 2.0 is the senior, although like everything else about her it is unknown whether she is actually older. Anyway, she acts older. When she's not lording over Pichu 2.0, she's sitting alone, quietly, and thinking. She is for the most part emotionless, showing only mild discomfort with everything. It is believed her powers are far stronger than Pichu's, but she's a pacifist and so hardly ever tries. She doesn't even bother with the wiry hairs on her tail- they're caused by static electricity in her fur and are almost impossible to get out.

While they may be the only ones of their kind, they certainly aren't the only 2.0 Pokemon around. In fact, if you want to try drawing a 2.0 Pokemon, by all means go and do so. There are no rules, really-- just make it different from the original, and definitely cooler.

Actually, if I made a club where people can submit their own 2.0 Pokemon, would people do that? Because that'd be fun. ^^

The 2.0 Pokemon aren't technically my personal characters, but the idea of them is mine, and therefore if you draw one you should probably credit me for the idea. (But if you just want to redesign a Pokemon, and not call it a 2.0... well, I suppose that's fine.)
