Please take this magnifying glass, the mirror, and the chocolate (I know how you love that brand, they have that rice paper wrapping...) as a token that I am yet alive. I have not been killed, but I must tell you that you should not consider me alive. I have no way of returning. Farewell, my child.
Please do NOT use the magnifying glass at any cost. Especially take care that you do not look into a mirror with it. I have said too much, but let me just say that this device has something to do with why I am damned away from you, my loving family. You are after all my only child left, and without your mother we are few, but still a family. I knew that you would be hurt more than anything with news of my going missing. But please know that I am alive and you are not alone. I admonish you to not attempt to find me, as I am not in any place that can be reached. I only wished to let you know that you are not yet an orphaned woman.

That is what the note said, wrapped around a tiny canister and tied with a bow. It somehow appeared in the mirror, in the downstairs servant quarters. Some of the other servants say that it is where a young woman used to have her room, but it has been decades since that family lived here. Indeed, says the washer woman who works with you day in and day out (Elanda) the family was pronounced dead. Not only the father, but the daughter too, also went missing. Thus the house going for auction. A rich plantation owner bought the place, bringing his army of shall we say, house servants? He is a distant and kind man, despite the disreputable opinion many like him come to deserve.
But that canister indeed has the mirror in it, and a magnifying glass.

(you can alter yourself by moving object out of this space, since they are your essential ingredients, or you can alter things by leaving objects in this space. You can also "go deeper" by using the magnifying glass again. I hope that helps)

(haha okay so you are trying to turn the symbol into a female symbol, right? So the way I would do it is use the magnifying glass on it again, then maybe you will find out more. but beware, you don't have a means to get out of objects once you enter them, yet)

The magnifying glass expands him/her into another room filled with curtains, the ground lit by glowing balls. There is also a beautifully carved staff stuck in a hole in the ground near the glowing balls. The curtains show a kind of womb-like or inside-the-body feeling as they are red and the lighting is warm. There is also a pot in the corner that looks open, with something inside it.

You can hear footsteps, of all things. Someone is whistling. You can see that in the corner there is a telescope, poking off between the curtains, facing the direction of the whistling.

The telescope looks a bit fragile, but you can heft it. As you pick it up, you notice the whistling getting closer. There seems to be someone in white strolling nearby, a girl.

The girl turns to look at you, extremely happy to see someone. she runs through the curtains, holding a glowing ball in her hand. "hey, oh I'm so glad to see you...another person!" she laughed and hugged you. You could feel that she was very thin, but even still she was your height and had a gorgeous natural beauty. "you're in...." she looked around, "it's hard to say. we'd have to zoom out. do you have a magnifying glass?" she asked with smeagol like enthusiasm.

She seemed to not belong to this setting, wearing white, blond, olive skin, brown eyes. "in bodies, it looks like. whose body is this here?"

"you use it on one of these" she held up the glowing ball, "crystal balls, you have two of them there, next to your...uh staff" she stepped around it. "well, if you wanted to see, it's no harm since we have both a crystal ball and my magnifying glass back." she swallowed. "If you go up or down with something important from here...like the staff" she wiggled it out of the hole where it was. she glanced at the jar. "what's in that? well anyway, if we take this out...going up or down with it in our posession...you'd change somehow" she shrugged.

She smiles. "okay, then hand me my magnifying glass back, if that's what it is and I'll take you up one" she nods. "you can trust me"

She smiles and uses it on the crystal ball. "these show what your world is a part of" and soon the space before, with the different people standing there blankly appeared. She stepped in, waving you to come.

you are back in the previous world. She glanced around. "okay so this is you. oh you said that" she wiped a blond strand of hair from her eye. Just then you could feel a strange sensation in your groin. Your balls were twisting up, resetting in your abdomen quite aggressively.

You are immediately transported to the strange room with red curtains, a spy-glass, globes, urns filled with something, and a hole between the globes. "well, for starters...actually I have no idea!" she said smiling.

Inside one is a new set of curtains...a green set. There is also a blue set. In the other urn are several implements: a turkey baster, an egg, and a cork. In the last urn there is a crescent moon shaped plate, a wig on a wig stand, and a doll.

Hmm... Let's try and replace these curtains with this blue set here, and maybe replace some of the stuff with the things in this urn.

The hole seemed to be a shaft, like a flag pole hole in the stone crest carved on the ground-- a shield with angels blowing trumpets.

She steps out, watching your carefully. You could feel a stitch in your abdomen, like something was gnawing in there. Your hair seemed to stay short at first, but it began to poof out and up, pulling tight against the sides of your head, billowing into a long ponytail at last. Your forehead began to round, your brow-ridge becoming smooth, your eyes widening, your lips filling in and becoming darker. You can feel something wiggling along your eyes as makeup is applied. Your cheekbones push out, as do your nipples, which began to widen in their hardness, itching and tickling. They became the size of grapes at first, then expanding more from there. You could feel that poking feeling in your abdomen again, and your hip began to pull outward.
Meanwhile, your clothing began to dissolve like clay in water, but before you were even naked you could feel a smooth, thick cloth wrapping around your hips, covering wehre your underwear had vanished. Your chest began to be cupped tightly be a stretchable undergarment and soon you were wrapped in a sari.

"Lyriah" she said, smiling. "You realize that you didn't introduce yourself until you became a girl...does that mean you were a girl before?" she giggled, looking you over.
