"I'm telling you, aliens are REAL!" said the young lady serving drinks at the tavern. It was the fourth or fifth person in town who had said something to the same effect. "I don't mean that they are from across the sea, I mean they came from the moon!" So what? A slight variation-- possibly a totally false statement, but interesting anyway. Others said things like, "they come from between the hours of the day" and "they came here before this town was built, but they came from the bad part of the heavens" Regardless, the reward was handsome for whoever would take it.Just outside the cavern where most of the terrified rumors led, a campfire flickering up against the smoke rising through the forest canopy leads you (please describe your character a little, and it needs to be a new one for this RP please) to a figure seated on a log, his back turned, sipping from a large drinking gourd. His hair is spiky like straw and apparently colored the same. Before long his flickering blue eyes turned from the fire and he looked out, not seeing, but hearing you. "You can come out now. You're not an alien are you?"
(Please, new characters for this rp only. Or at least rp as if they are-- I don't care. The way I'd like this to go is to dungeon crawl and fight monsters and have some action adventure. There are opportunities for being transformed into various things, or having curses occur. Let me know your ideas either in a note or in comment, the more the merrier. Since I have a bias toward TG and TF I'll put a tag in for that as well, but there will be no pokemon tf's under any circumstances. Also please try and keep it sort of D&D flavored. So, get turned into an elf or something, not sonic the hedgehog, okay?)

Tailor gulped. A slime trail that follows him? that sounds disturbing. He wondered about it for a moment longer. "I mean, why would you feed it to people...does it give a benefit?" he glanced nervously at meredith. They were nearing the bottom of the enormous staircase.

Meredith blushed a bit as did Sewie.
"Well..." He said "I've heard some people say I taste like candy"

Tailor admitted to himself that he did feel hungry. "it isn't poisonous is it?" he tried not to make eye contact with meredith now, realizing that he was probably crossing some taboo talking about eating his friend. He had eaten friends in the past before, but then again, they were magical beings actually made of food. He reached out and grabbed a blob of Sewie. "how much of this do we need to get rid of before you go back to...eh..form?"

Sewie blushed a bit "I'm not sure how much exactly..." he said. "No. It's not poisonous"

"Well?" He took some with his other hand and offered it to meredith while bringing the other blob up to his own lips and eating some.

Meredith ate some as Sewie really did taste like candy!

Tailor gulped and took another scoop. "sewie, this is delicious! I mean, you are delicious..."he said and looked at meredith. "is this too strange for you?"

Meredith giggled nervously but she did take some of Sewie, and it did taste yummy

Between mouth fulls Tailor asked, " so how much should we be eating? I mean, if we eat too much, you might be skinnier or shorter than Meredith, right?"

He blushed and nodded "y-yeah"

He took another chunk and handed it to meredith, then took one for himself. "only if you want another" he mumbled, realizing he was a little awkward around meredith.

Meredith slurped in some more, blushing a bit

Deciding he was totally full and hydrated, Tailor finished his last chunk and looked up. While they had been sauntering tough the sand they had approached an enormous bend in the path. Like a huge worm larger than some castles had dug in one direction and then veered right. At the corner there was a bluish glow, and a couple figures moving about.

Meredith was a bit worried about the tunnels. "This... can't be good"

Tailor kept walking, hoping they would find some answers soon. The blue glow and the figures vanished as the party came closer to the turn. After the rounded the corner there was more tunnel until at the very end the wall looked white and sparkly. It took hours of hiking to get to the base "it looks like its not made of stone..."

Meredith blinked wondering why that was "is this... salt?"
Sewie blinked a bit seeing this..

"I have no idea" he scratched it with his fingernail. "could be any kind of crystal, really" he shrugged. But he was unsettled on the inside. He noticed a triangular entryway and pointed it out. Inside it was a triangular hallway that seemed to go down further and around a corner. "Shall we?"

As they walked into the doorway, the triangular opening seemed to glow and then it was gone. they were sealed inside. "what the" Tailor lit a magic torch and let it float around them, lighting their way. "this looks special, if nothing else" he was afraid to use the word alien at this point. it seemed too on the mark.

Meredith was officially freaked out now. "a-are we stuck?"

"apparently...but if it can shut, it can open, right?" he hoped this logic was sound as he didn't want to lose his concentration by freaking out. They rounded a corner, still surrounded by this strange crystalline stone. They came out into an area flooded with water with strange sculptures just above and just below the surface. This place was actively being maintained. "it's actually quite beautiful" Tailor said out loud.

Meanwhile Sewie was hoping this salt like crystal wasn't having negative effects on him

Carefully looking out across the water, Tailor noticed steps just below the surface. "we walk across, but I don't know how we get through on the other side" he said. There seemed to be a small hole on the other side of the room with steps leading down to it, but no doorway per say. Tailor hopped his way across, stepping from spot to spot.

(hmmm... some kind of TF? perhaps into what they are inside? and in Sewie's case the effect is blocked from the strength of his curse?)

Just then, Tailor's foot slipped and he splashed down, soaking his left leg in the water. Strangely it began to tingle. "oh shoot, I soaked myself" he said, chuckling. He didn't look under his pant leg yet, but the hair on his leg was retreating fast and his skin was turning a bit green.

Meredith eeped as she slipped on the rock, reaching for something... anything that could save her... but it was too late! she had fallen in

Tailor noticed as he pulled his leg out of the water that his boot was starting to not fit. He quickly pulled it off, gasping at the visual fact that his toes were growing stumpy and large and compact.

Meredith gasped and struggled in the water trying to stay afloat, not realizing she was starting to grow red scales

He watched in horror as meredith's skin began to break out in a bad case of scales. He noticed her face already beginning to push out in a strange way, making her look almost like a monkey for a moment. "uhh what's happening?" he could feel that his hand was turning scaly where he had touched his leg and it was spreading.

Then her face pushed out further and fangs emerged while a tail uncurled, breaking through her clothing. Meanwhile Tailor's body began to bend over and bulk up, growing larger. "uh oh" he groaned as his neck began to grow longer.

(haha I dunno, he's obsessed with ancient stuff, the archaic. He's old at heart. why is she a dragon?)
He shifted slightly and suddenly blossomed, ballooning into a juvenile long-necked dinosaur, his clothing and items falling to the ground like dust. "um...this isn't good. how are we going to keep going? there's no room?" (sorry, realized I was TFing you. you can finish off)

She squeaked and blushed as her scales were bright red with pink stripes and her very large wings grew, her bones snapping and morphing

He looked around, blinking. It was harder to look around and to blink, but it felt so...momentous. He looked for the slime boy/girl. "hey, don't fall in the water" he warned.

Tailor looked over, terrified, "wow, you've changed Meredith!" his voice boomed lower than before.

she blushed a bit as her voice was high as ever still

Strangely, the water was gone from the pit. No one knew when it had drained or perhaps dried up. What's more, the tiny hole on the wall was now a large opening that led to a fairly large hallway with glowing crystals where torches would be, lighting the walls.

the now changed trio trudged on, a bit disoriented

"I wonder if we can still perform magic?" Tailor said, thundering along, trying not to step on sewie.

Sewie decided to stay riding on Meredith causing her to blush. "I...I think we still can"
Meredith's fire magic was actually enhanced now

"Let me try" he raised his large front legs and almost hit the fall, mumbling something in a low rumble before crashing to the ground. However, blue sparks came out of his mouth. "oh...the focal point is no longer my hands...it's my mouth" he said. He started mumbling another spell, and then opened his mouth and out came a blast of ice, making the wall frosty. "oh there we go." he said gleefully.

He went down the crystal hallway (should we have more TF's or do you like your form? I don't mean right away, just further along) and noticed that it opened up into a larger dark room with illuminated pillars. There were figures standing near the lights in what looked like armor, but the armor flickered like blue candles. "This is it!"
