"I'm telling you, aliens are REAL!" said the young lady serving drinks at the tavern. It was the fourth or fifth person in town who had said something to the same effect. "I don't mean that they are from across the sea, I mean they came from the moon!" So what? A slight variation-- possibly a totally false statement, but interesting anyway. Others said things like, "they come from between the hours of the day" and "they came here before this town was built, but they came from the bad part of the heavens" Regardless, the reward was handsome for whoever would take it.Just outside the cavern where most of the terrified rumors led, a campfire flickering up against the smoke rising through the forest canopy leads you (please describe your character a little, and it needs to be a new one for this RP please) to a figure seated on a log, his back turned, sipping from a large drinking gourd. His hair is spiky like straw and apparently colored the same. Before long his flickering blue eyes turned from the fire and he looked out, not seeing, but hearing you. "You can come out now. You're not an alien are you?"
(Please, new characters for this rp only. Or at least rp as if they are-- I don't care. The way I'd like this to go is to dungeon crawl and fight monsters and have some action adventure. There are opportunities for being transformed into various things, or having curses occur. Let me know your ideas either in a note or in comment, the more the merrier. Since I have a bias toward TG and TF I'll put a tag in for that as well, but there will be no pokemon tf's under any circumstances. Also please try and keep it sort of D&D flavored. So, get turned into an elf or something, not sonic the hedgehog, okay?)

"well, it looks like these guys are not quite from anywhere IM aware of on earth" he almost felt embarrassed thinking they were aliens. who knew, maybe they were?
As the group approached the armored men, it became apparent that they were quite dainty and small, no larger than twelve year olds. They seemed to have a strange head though, with a face that looked somewhat like a human or a fae, only more sinister in experession.
Then there was the second face. Every one of them had another face on their forehead with eyes closed. It looked squished and off to the side, like a twin that didn't quite make it to full growth.

Meredith shivered a bit "oh my."

They all seemed to be stone still, like statues. "strange, " tailor the dinosaur said, "are they asleep?" he walked right up to one and saw that it's eyes were closed. They were all closed.

Meredith blinked a bit "I wonder why"

Nearing the middle of the vast room, which was like something out of a cathedral, only larger, there was a fountain surrounded by suits of armor that had been carefully laid down. They were empty. "curious..." He dipped his front foot into the water and suddenly began to notice fingers emerge. "wow...I'm not sure if it's changing me back, but I'm definitely changing back a little." he stepped into the water and splashed around, feeling himself revert quickly. All that muscle and might and bone filtered and slid past him into the air and water and vanished, leaving him in the water, soaked. "wow." he was totally nude.

Meredith jumped into the water as well sighing in relief

As she began to transform back to her normal self, Tailor picked up one of the suits of armor, seeing if it would fit him. Strangely, it fit him really well, but only if he left out parts of it, making for a funny looking suit.

Meredith giggled a bit seeing how it looked

He frowned , " hey, it's better than going naked like you are" he said defensively.

she blushed a bit "r-right"

He handed her some armor pieces. Just then there was a skittering sound from above. " it's probably some bug" he said, shrugging, "it's nothing"

Meredith shivered a bit. She hated bugs! she then looked to Sewie as he seemed to be hungry again

Suddenly the ceiling rumbled as a form shivered in a corkscrew path down a pillar, cracking it as it went. "That's probably not a bug...I saw it had smooth skin, like flesh"

Meredith stepped back worriedly as did Sewie

The creature slithered forward, stepping on the remaining pieces of armor near the pillar the creature came from. There was a quiet voice from it. The voice came from a mushed up face on one of the shoulders of the centipede-like creature. It sounded like it was ending a conversation with the others, but what it said was in some other language. The creature's large face, which was almost feline and also worm-like, roared, sending water out of it's mouth in bits of foam. (sorry kind of scattered, le sigh)

Meredith stared in absolute horror as sewie looked like he was ready to faint

"well..." was all he could think to say as tailor began preparing a spell. He noticed that the armor he was wearing seemed to be tampering with his preparation however. As he prepared a frost bolt, instead of making a ball of cold he got a strange glowing purple ball. "not sure what this is" he said, and then tossed it at the creature. There was a popping and suddenly the whole creature was covered in a dark brown fur, the faces hidden underneath. Large ears rose out of the flesh and flapped into position on it's head. It stretched and roared it's sloppy roar again before lunging at Sewie. "wow sewie watch out!"

The beast, transformed anew, was not totally accustomed to it's own body and landed in the fountain instead, splashing the water everywhere. Strangely, the fur was dissolving off. But there was another transformatoin being undone-- the parts of it seemed to be coming loose, hanging off, and dropping onto the floor as little gremlin-like creatures.

"a real puzzle" tailor said, and ran to the water, splashing more up on the beast, which began to crumble more until there were just eight little naked gremlins on the ground. They seemed upset as they awoke. One of them, which hadn't been asleep at all yelled at the others and they began to run away.

"Gremlins can't usually...do that" he said as two ran toward each other in the shadows and then walked out again, holding some kind of staff that had been hidden in the shadows. It looked exactly like the silent sleeping ones standing by the pillars. "Where are they getting these powers and equipment, and who is leading them?" he cast another purple ball, but it was deflected by some invisible force field surrounding this combination gremlin, hitting a pillar. The pillar immediately began to grow hair in a striped pattern. it was quite adorable in any other context.

Meredith began preparing a fire spell to try and attack it

The little fae-looking guy with a smooshed face on his forehead suddenly was joined by two others like him. They dropped their staves and huddled. They also did something strange with their legs, crossing their legs in a sort of braiding fashion so that their legs overlapped in a lattice. Without much adieu they were reduced to a large swirl of fleshy joints ribs, and skulls, though the skin seemed to never break. "eww" Tailor said, deciding to switch spells, since his ice spell had been turned to a cat spell. He began preparing something that glowed light blue.

"hmm well that is supposed to be lighting?" he hurled it at the ball of skin and bones. There was a loud blast and the monster teleported into a pillar, breaking it in half. Some celing crystal fell down. The ball began to divide down the middle like a developing egg. "weird" was all Tailor could muster as he assessed the spell, the monster, the damages.

she tried throwing fire at the thing as Sewie backed up

The fire burned some of the skin, causing a blistering sore to form. The creature seemed to stop for a moment, and then after a tiny rest, it split down the middle, and a pair of two-legged creatures, each with two little faces on the sides of the head on a large crest emerged. These twin nasty creatures had raptor-like bodies with large crests and a whipping tail. One had a large burn on it's back and it looked somewhat impaired. "fire seems good" said tailor, trying to remember how to do that.

He had a ball of red light finally, after switching through a few different spells. He fired it at the burned one. Cause why not? The burned one was suddenly starting to heal. "damnit" he fired another quickly, but this one was bright yellow, and it fell to the ground, convulsing with electricity. It got up on it's two feet, squealing.

Meredith kept attacking them relentlessly trying to defeat it

The creatures began to get badly damaged. "it's working!" Tailor said, taking off pieces of the armor and trying to cast his spells normally. It was difficult-- like the armor was some kind of interference.
Eventually one of the creatures fell to the ground, singed and too tired to fight. The other skulked back into the shadows. "huh...do you think it's safe?" I said.
