"Heeello..?" Scorchstorm peered into the apprentices den. "...Swirlpaw?" she mewed. "Uh, I'm here to pick you up for training."
Silence.
"..." Scorchstorm sat there, feeling like an awkward ginger blob.

Swirlpaw came up behind scorchstorm and sat next to her. Looking at her mentor she twitched her tail slightly "Im right here..." she mewed.

"Oh!" Scorchstorm turned her head. "Swirlpaw, greetings." she dipped her head, trying to make a good impression. "Shall we go for a tour of the territory? We can talk as we stroll."

"Greetings to you as well..." She shook her tail slightly before standing up again. "Ya, I guess." She mewed feeling slightly shy, diffrent from her normal self.

Scorchstorm padded out of camp, looking up at the birch and oak trees, which now had leaves of autumn clinging to the branches. "Leaf-fall..." she sighed. "It'll be good to hunt as we go about a round of the territory."
