Krovendrakk species reference :

Okay, this is a picture of my "fursona" (well, the term "alter-ego" suits him better) Vroenfael, a young male Krovendrakk of the Koren clan. You'll find out more about his personality and background later There's quite a lot of foreshortening going on here, which alters his proportions slightly : his legs really are quite a lot longer and narrower than they look here, as is his body. His face isn't just as distorted though Vroen is of the Koren clan (clan refs will be made as soon as I find the time) hence he's taller than average and of lighter build, as well as due to his heritage. Note that Vroen's spine is visible (though not individual vertebrae due to the great reduction of spinal processes in this species) whereas this is not the case in most other Krovendraekk.

Oh btw, I'll be submitting a "detail" shot of Vroenfael in the next 5 mins if anyone is interested

. Yep. I did kinda mess the background up a bit. I reffed the sky from a pic off google images, and as for the mountains, snow and river, I didn't use a ref. I REALLY should have looking at that snow effect. -shot-
The mountains though were just scribbled and I didn't really see the point in going over them.

This is actually my first fully coloured digital piece, and my first ever digital background. Lol, I know I submitted the ref first, but I did that deliberately so I'd be able to show people his species, and because I forgot some of Vroen's armour and had to go back and add it. So...erm yes. Vroen taking a leisurely run in the snow while the sun rises. Yeah, he likes snow

Done aged 16 in GIMP using 1 layer and a 12 x 9 wacom intuos 3 tablet. (from ebay ) Enjoy!
