READ BEFORE YOU COMMENTOkay, this is a very quick and badly done sketch of my zephyr character Kashtan for ~Shinmera 's use in a story of his so that he can see what he looks like. And no, before people start saying that it's a freaky looking dog, he's a member of an ALIEN species. The rectangle is an approximation of his fur colour, and those plates and things are metal. BTW, his two pairs of saber teeth are visible even when his mouth is closed as in the picture showing the shape of his diamond mask. So um, yeah, here he is. ^^

Hehe yup! What do you think of him? ^^ (he's one of my zephyrwolves who was designed for someone to use in their story, although this is a rubbish sketch, it sorta outlines his design)

I think it's a very interesting design. I like how long they are and his set of double sabre-teeth.

Aww thanks - I'm glad someone likes the longness ^^ It makes them have larger strides and more manoeverability ^^ And I'm glad you like the double sabres - I must admit I like that bit too XD!

Well, they don't look too long and they look proportionate, which is a big thing. It's not like you just have them long without being proportionate.
I love long teeth. I wanted to give some of my comic characters sabre-like teeth, but it didn't fit their anatomy as much as I'd like it, so I nixed that. lol

Yeah I'm glad about that - I tried to make sure that although he's very long and thin, his legs, head and tail still look as if they belong to his body and not someone elses XD!(asiatic dragons often annoy me - their legs are just tooooo tiny - I did a pic of one, but I made him have actual LEGS instead of little ones XD) However, they are divided into about 12 clans, each of which have slightly different appearances and sizes, but only slight things like head shape, height and posture - they're all clearly of the same species ^^
And never mind about the sabre teeth - if they didn't fit it's better you kept them out so that the characters worked better

That's awesome. Realistic and well thought out. Reminds me of my creatures. We should do an art trade. lol. We can try to draw each others creatures.

And we should - I'm a very slow artist and I'm inundated with homework, plus I took on a one-off trade over the holidays and I'm trying to finish it off, but when I'm done it'd be an honour to draw your critters, plus if you drew Kashtan it'd be mah first ever fanart! (
