i too am drawing a macaw, a colored version. i would love very much if you could give me some tips as to how you achieved this level of detailing.Β

This looks great! I especially love how you've rendered the feathers, they look so soft! you've captured the material really well. The only thing I'd say would be that some of the feather's of the upper wing look a little flat as they don't have much of a shadow underneath them.
You have a good eye for detail, keep up the good work!
