Description
From a still-comic standpoint, Youmu's spellcard would be less interesting if it exactly copied what actual Youmu was doing, so I made it a little more stylish. Still, that spellcard isn't used very often in Touhou fanworks and it's one of my favorites in Youmu's repetoire.I think I need a break from creating action scenes for a bit... Now with a satisfactory amount of information revealed, we can progress through the incident.

The action scene was pretty outstanding! I'm not good at creating action scenes, but rather enjoy seeing them. I can create action scenes in my head, but to put them in work is quite hard for me to do.

I've been really impressed by the amount of emotion that Harusame can express without words.
That being said, gunblade-chan is an unexpectedly compelling antagonist.

Yeah, but so far most of the emotions she's shown are more negative, save for maybe the first two chapters which are rather short.
Still, I'm curious as to how you find the antagonist compelling, was it that cryptic message he said before flying off?

His motivation can be reduced to "I kill things and fight people because previously lots of people used me to do the same thing, and now I need to keep surviving by doing it some more."
Despite it being pretty simple, he's really taking that principle to its extremes. I suppose I was most interested because at first, it looked like he just wanted to butcher things. That image changed immediately after he actually got around to butchering, and decided that it was too boring. Now I'm interested to see what his plan is.

I just got all of the OC backstory out of the way, which is how this chapter ended up much longer than the other chapters.
I suppose when it comes down to it, the two things that are left are uncovering whatever petty intentions this incident has been caused by and how it will be resolved.
