I finally finished this Amnesia one shot comic! It's one of the few Amnesia pieces I made that is meant to be serious, but if you're amused by it, that's fine too.

This is basically Amnesia: The Dark Descent's version of a scene from the Silent Hill Movie. Personally I have a love/hate relationship with that film (the production values are nice and it looks great, but the story is nothing like the first game). However, it does have a few cool scenes, and this particular one made me think of Daniel and the young girl spoken about during the game (in audio flashbacks and diary entries).

After reading the Remember pdf that came with the Justine expansion, there is a picture of one of the girls, Elise, who was a part of the Zimmerman family when Daniel and Alexander came to kidnap them all. Now, the young girl in the game never has her name mentioned, but I got the impression that it was Elise from the short story.

So, what if Daniel had a more direct way of confronting what he did?

I placed this scene in the Choir. This is because in the game's commentary, it was mentioned that the area was inspired by the first Silent Hill. A few Let's Players have also said that the Choir is one of the most sinister areas in the entire game.
Furthermore, this is a point in the game before you get the diary entry disclosing the fate of the young girl, so Daniel here does not yet understand the full extent of his crimes.

I used a new blood brush set to help me out with the second to last panel: [link]
I also had a few extra sound effects in here, but I ended up removing them because they seemed too silly and took away from the feel I was going for. The call-outs are inspired by the game's inventory screen.
