It's June 9th, the anniversary date of the couple from Layers of Fear! You can find the date on the wedding invitation you find in Chapter 1 of the game. You can also find it circled on a calendar later on, which is a clue to opening a chest even further in, which gives you a memento.

So to honor the occasion, I had to draw the scene when the Painter proposed to his wife, with a line that's pretty fuckin' smooth if I do say so myself.

I made the setting an art gallery because it was just...perfect for him. Especially given the line. Propose to the 'most beautiful piece of art' in an art gallery, in front of his first painting of her. What a dork.
