Crapcrapcrapcrap nooooooo! Everything keeps getting worse! Sans and Frisk just really can't catch a break, can they (yes that wording is intentional 
Aaaaaaaah, I just can't get over the mass amounts of detail you include with every page and panel!! From Sans' glow fading as he weakens, to Frisk's clothes getting ruffled in between where the vines are grasping her, just, wow. That's one of the many reasons why I admire you and your work, Zeragii, and, also, the hands and expressions; you just really do them so well!! For example, Sans' face in the fourth panel, especially with how his eye sockets are drooping a bit and partially lidded, clearly communicate his exhaustion and misery. Same goes for the last panel, in how he visibly straightens up in his expression as he gathers enough energy and strength to take a stand against the Forgotten. Augh. I love this comic so much! You are so awesome!

Technically both would be tortured because the latter case is a form of psychological torture. And the damage from psychological torture can take years to heal....if it ever does. So, when one applies logic under these parameters, we can determine that being forced to watch someone you love being tortured is worse....because you may NEVER recover from that trauma. Particularly if the loved one dies.
Forgive me if this insight is disturbing. I just tend to think about this sort of thing.....a lot. ....I have issues....

Eh, I'm just not all that comfortable with that side of myself. People keep telling me I'm a nice person, but....my own personal morals tell me that my deep fascination with torture is NOT nice. At all. So I feel like I'm somehow lying to people. And I hate that. So I hate that side of myself for making me into a liar. ....My logic is weird. GAH!!! I HATE THAT WORD!!! ...Blasted 'i' and 'e' not being in the order they are supposed to....

Well, I suppose it depends on what part of torture that fascinates you. If you enjoy seeing people hurt, then yeah, I might be worried too, haha. But if you're more interested in the psychological side of it (i.e. how it affects those being tortured, whether physically or any other way), then you're totally fine, trust me. I enjoy analyzing how people react in certain situations, including that of when they're being hurt. Also, having an interest/fascination in such things definitely doesn't make you a bad person. It simply means that it appeals to you in one way or another, and that's not necessarily bad. I'm a firm believer that good things can come out of bad situations, including our habits and thoughts about ourselves.
... Whoops, I kinda rambled a bit there, haha. As you can likely tell, psychology interests me. But yeah; don't think badly of yourself for that. You're good.

...I enjoy both the psychological aspects AND seeing people hurt. So....yeah. Kind of bad. I try very hard not to indulge those urges outside of writing. Only outlet I allow myself because it is the only one that I consider safe. Nobody gets hurt if I torment fictional characters...and that satisfies that side of me enough that I don't suffer weird dreams. I call them that only because they don't actually frighten me. Most people would probably call them nightmares because of the content, but....no fear for me = not a nightmare. They're just weird dreams.

machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.

a Monday night at 12:00 a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you

“The task you failed to do.” Hrrm...
Theory: The forgotten are the past Judges of monster kind. Of course, that’s assuming you’ve headcanoned that it’s an actual established role within monster society, and especially if you’ve decided that there were/are certain abilities and magical constants associated with the role. Sans is the only monster in the game to show visibly colored red blood/something when killed, and so a lot of people have theorized that he’s the only monster who ‘bleeds’ and further that said blood is actually determination. Perhaps, rather than being something completely unique to Sans (and we do know that Undyne can find or naturally create some determination of her own when pushed far enough!), there is a certain degree of determination associated with being a judge? Enough for one’s memories to live on even if nothing else does, perhaps? Or if not determination, perhaps the magic of the role lives on? This might explain how Sans has stopped them before, too; by simply not holding the same ideals or not continuing the memory/emotional chain and carrying out the task they think a judge should pursue. Perhaps he’s the first judge in a long time.
One possibility of many. I’m not too convinced the theory is right—among other things, the forgotten were around for the war! So it would have had to be some very ancient judges indeed, no one from recent times. But it was fun to reason through! xD

Not here, not really into that sort of thing. Though I will admit that after I drew up this page I realized how that could deffinately be read that way. It would be just about as bad as that. I mean, having someone mess with your soul, the culmination of your very being....That CAN'T have a good effect on your mental state....
