It's interesting, but (excluding Asriel) none of the main characters in Undertale, in canon, have parents mentioned. Undyne struck me as as someone with passion and drive, something she might have gained on her own, but was more likely to have been inspired to be by someone else. As tags of 'Undyne's mother' exists, I decided to go the other route. There isn't any direct significance, other than when I was a little girl I loved to play with little toy, plastic animals. I had over two hundred of them, each one with a specific name that I had memorized. I created maps for their world, laws, hierarchies; everything. I had a king and a queen. And, a captain of the guard named Brahanen. Or, something very similar; it has been QUITE a few years since I played with these toys.
In fact, all of those plastic animals now reside somewhere in Africa, as I donated them to a mission that gave them to African children. They sent me a clip of them opening them. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
So. Huh. Maybe there is some significance there after all! XD
