I know I've said it before, but I just love space. It's so vast, and beautiful. It makes my nerdy science geekness shine through.
Just some made up nebulae I digitally painted up in a moment of weakness

it's beautiful. I am also one to love space, especially through this year. I took a class called 'big history' and it was amazing, talking about space and the stars. I loved it so much!

These are beautiful! I love space too, although it terrifies me at the same time due to its vastness XD It is pretty spectacular, all the tiny stars actually being suns from distant solar systems some of which no longer exist by the time we see them. It's hard to believe we're the only living thing, there's gotta be more.

I can definitely relate! I love space so much, but I think I'd make a lousy astronaut. I love Earth too much to leave it. I mean, if we ever reach a time where you can do interplanetary travel without it taking years and years, and with the assurance that we'll make it back alive, then sure! Sign me up! ^^

Space is awesome and terrifying at the same time ^^ Questions like, 'is there an edge to the universe?', or 'are we really the only life out there?' always come to my mind when I think of space for any amount of time.
If the universe really was endless, then to me at least, it wouldn't seem possible. To me anyway, there just has to be an edge to the universe; everything has a start, and an end. But what is at the edge of the universe? What would happen if we went over the edge? Would we be held back by an unseeable force, or would we just... cease to exist?
As for 'are we really the only life out there?', I don't think we are. I believe that considering how massive the universe is, there's no way we could be the only life in the universe. Even so, I find it far more likely that there is life out there which is notΒ as advanced as it is on Earth, and that if we were to find anyΒ life, it would be something like bacteria; microscopic.
Anyway, enough of my rambling and theorising xD Space is one of my favourite things to think about, and I'm really interested to see what we find next in this immense cosmosΒ
