Because while I've always enjoyed the comic, I REALLY liked the movie. Utterly beast.Worked on this on/off for the past couple months. Getting used to painting and adding more colour.

I like the updated armor from the movie. The Stallone film, besides being shit, made the mistake of keeping that goofy armor from the comics. Seriously, that has to be the most impractical armor to deal with. Big fuck off shoulder pads, and a huge ass chain? The armor they did for Dredd was way more practical. And it looked like something an actual police force would wear. This film has defiantly replaced the Stallone film, even though it's The Raid, just with Judge Dredd.

i had my doubts about the new movie at first but after seeing first time in the cinema (3d as well) i felt it was really well done, aside from the 3d aspect.

I didn't really notice the 3D except for the Slow-Mo scenes, which were really cool. And yeah, it was a helluva movie.

same here the 3D was really unnoticeable in my opinion. if its made for 3d it will work, if its made "with" 3d it wont.

So do you think we will get another movie? Box office came out on the low end, but god was it good! SO much better than the original adaptation with Stallone.

Well it didn't recoup it's budget, but if we're fortunate, the dvd release will recoup the rest so a sequel gets greenlit.
