- Both were once regular fictional characters till they had their entire world view shattered due to the actions of others leading to the deaths of a key piece in their life (Atlair's creator, Setsuna, committing suicide (due to her getting harassed over accusations of plagiarism)/Dreadpool's inner voices getting destroyed by Psycho-Man (who wanted to have Deadpool as the second in command of his brainwashed army))

- They then realized that being a fictional character was suffering and nothing really mattered, and because of that it allowed them to break free from the narrative (With Altair becoming a Character without a Story/Dreadpool gaining a new Voice in his Head, Red Box)

- They then went on metafictional killing sprees where they killed as many fictional characters as possible to destroy fiction & reality itself (Altair wanting to bring fictional characters to our world to destroy it's rationality, and to ultimately cause everything returning to oblivion/Dread going into the Ideaverse to wipe the inspiration for heroes from the very pages of literature, which would wipe out the entire Marvel multiverse)

- Both are empowered by the real world audience (with Altair's power being directly linked to fan creations and the audience rooting for her/Dreadpool being able to slaughter the entire Marvel universe because he's popular and people bought and read the comic and, to quote said comic, "because you asked for it")

- Both only have one person in the world they care about (Setsuna/Red Box) with them being people who at the start of the story weren't really there (Setsuna committing Suicide/Red Box was just a Voice in Dreadpool's Head) but they were able to interact with them physically after being given new life through the power of the Mind (Setsuna coming back as a Creation/The part of Dreadpool's Brain that contained Red Box's being put into Frankenstein's Monster)

- While also having a deep seeded hatred for a hero who were created by the same creator (Sota Mizushino & Deadpool) but after they nearly succeeded in their goals to destroy all of reality, they softened towards them and stopped their massacre (with Altair creating a new universe for her and the Creation Setsuna to live in/Earth-616 Deadpool brought Dreadpool back to his senses right before killing him for good)

- Both are also HEAVILY inspired off another character(s) from a different companies (With Altair being inspired off characters ranging from Hatsune Miku to Gilgamesh/Deadpool (& Dreadpool by Extension) being based off Deathstroke)
