Intellectual beings with great psychic powers who underwent experiments (Magneto suffered experiments for his magnetic powers and Mewtwo was born as an experiment to copy Mew) this generated great hatred for humanity, seeing them as a selfish race that mistreats its own. they seek the protection of their race/species through very extreme methods (Magneto wants mutants to dominate the world by exterminating humans and Mewtwo does not believe that coexistence with humans and pokemons is possible and that is why he seeks to kill trainers) but not as villains, since they believe that what they are doing is for the good of their people. they face a being that seeks peaceful coexistence between mutants/Pokemons with humanity (Charles Xavier/Mew), but in the end they realize their mistake and redeem themselves
