Epic artwork my friend! Yes this is how it was always truly meant to be! Zerith and CloTi are the current canon pairings. Post FF 7 the night under the Highwind happens regardless who you had more affection with. Cloud and Tifa grow closer and live together after the events of Meteorfall. The FF 7 Ultimanium proves this. Advent Children and every post FF 7 continuity proves this. Cloud and Tifa share a house, bedroom, business, and adopted Denzel as their kid. Zack and Aerith are together forever in the Lifestream! True love that never died! Zerith and CloTi are canon.

I'm SO agree with you! The classical history of the ones who grow as childhood friends and end as a couple is just so beautiful Maybe Cloud is not the most romantic boyfriend, but his story with Tifa is so inspirating!
Also I think that Aerith couldn't help but seeing Zack on Cloud (ya'know... Same weapon, same uniform, both SOLDIERS...) And several years after Zack gone missing she's still wearing the ribbong and dressing pink clothes, just as she promised to Zack.
For me, there's little things more canon than CloTi and Zerith
