Description
Commission for Gvozdi of an old, familiar face to some of you! Strelok the mercenary, an old fandom favorite and still very fun OC.He and Sana have an old friendship, strongly built on a foundation of banter and witty comments. Here they are hanging out after a year or two apart, going out for ice cream. Sanavava has learned to take Strelok's scary mercenary work in stride, as he has no reason or motivation to harm her. Besides, she's funny enough to keep around.

Most people only remember them for Blood Sport or seem to think they are your character XP

Where do I begin
So first off, as I said on skype, the dialogue is so ambiguously in character that it almost concerns me
You really did capture Strelok very well in just that sentence alone and it reminds me of how well they bounce off of Sana's personality
Making their friendship certainly an interesting one, hinted only more so by their multi-genred adventures, mishaps and character development :v
It is a good reminder of better times, in my opinion
So I guess you can say it made me simply nostalgic too
The concept as you conceived works out better than I anticipated, it is really fun seeing an almost casual down side to Strelok's work that is something that most people would ever consider
Since most work of Strelok out there all relate to them doing blammy blammy boom booms stuff, so it is a cool change of pace
I like just how cartoony and almost hoppy they are in their steps, adds a lot to the comedic overtones and brings emphasis to the absurdity of the circumstances themselves
You do a great job at making Strelok strangely expressive from in their masked visage, the use of colours and lighting fitting the style just right
Sana's apathy to Strelok's work comes off casually, which was the intended effect
Making it all that much more better
Both characters hold a nice stylized shadowing with a diverse colour pallet for their respective designs
As always, this is exceptionally good for its price and is ultimately a fantastic commission and picture over all

TERRIBLY LATE RESPONSE TO THIS But heyyy I know you liked how it turned out -w-
I did put a fair amount of thought into what Strelok would say,even went over some of the old BS pages with him and I thought this dialogue would be appropriately snarky for him without being out of character. glad I was right!
These two do have a fun dynamic--total cruel mercenary who doesn't mind hanging around with a snarky civilian is always funny.
Overall yeah thank you! Glad you like how it turned out and I hope you keep up Strelok as a character for a long time to come vwv Β and you're most welcome of course

You really got their personality down well in the comic too, so it is not at all surprising you managed the same here using that as a reference
Oh yeah, Strelok is definitely going to be around to stay
If not in stories or art, he'll probably be present in rps or just other little projects with other people going on
I took a long break with them but they are always around, in one way or the other
