Updated 2013 version. |D This deviation seriously needed to be re-done. SO HERE, have an updated version of my interpretation of the Police of the Irken Empire.

Farley and Colli are both rookies on the force and were assigned to have the tough-as-nails officer Taiga as their field mentor.

Colli is the most light-hearted of the group but is rarely able to make the other two laugh. He is most willing to joke and learn, and makes the most mistakes. He takes them in stride, determined to learn from them.

Farley is silent most of the time, speaking most often to make dry remarks, observations, or ask questions. He dwells on mistakes he makes but determines to never make them again. He is friends with Colli but it is difficult to tell how close they are--they both try to stay professional while on the job. Farley never seems to remove his helmet, whether he's on break or in the field. No one is quite sure what his full face really looks like, or why he so firmly refuses the demand to take it off.

The other enforcers vaguely suspect some sort of relationship between Farley and Colli, though there is no outward sign of such a thing: it's purely a police gut-instinct.

Taiga is the senior officer of the group and was assigned to drag the newbies around to teach them the ropes. This was not his choice, thus he is very coarse and easily annoyed by them, though they both try hard to obey him. Taiga sees crime in a very black and white way and pursues any criminal ruthlessly. He is devoted entirely to his work and to the pursuit and capture of one criminal in particular: Tex.

Tex and Taiga have had run-ins over years, most often at the scene of a crime. Taiga is able to capture him 1 time out of 10---but Tex always slips from his grasp, whether from prison or on the way TO prison. Taiga is convinced Tex is one of the most dangerous criminals out there, which confounds his fellow officers. In their opinion, Tex is a slippery criminal and, yes, steals things that most bandits wouldn't dare approach--but Tex is known for avoiding murder and cruelty, unless provoked. Taiga stands firm in his belief Tex is a ruthless killer and he is justified; the scars on his face were made by Tex during a particularly intense, out-of-control fight. Thus, Farley and Colli are most often dragged by Taiga on exhausting chases of Tex and rarely have the reward of actually apprehending him.
