What if something had gone wrong in the climax of Enies Lobby?

What if Usopp's final shot had missed Spandam?

What if.... something had gone wrong?

Robin's POV

The past few weeks had been what Robin would call the end.

Robin had been running her whole life from one place to another without respite, never really stopping to truly think why she was doing what she was doing.

From the moment she had miraculously gotten away from Ohara, to the multiple times she had been sold off by people that she thought she could trust. Then finally she met a group of people that she could finally trust. People that she could finally call friends after running for so long, but once again as it has happened many times in the past it was taken away due to her bad decisions and horrible luck.

She tried to protect her newfound family by finally giving up. When CPO contacted her in Water 7, and after the reminder of Aokiji, she did not want to hurt anyone close to her ever again, especially not the crew.

"Then the idiots followed me all the way to Enies Lobby and declared war on the world government"

Robin said in a whisper to no one in particular since she was alone in her cell, on the most secure prison in the grand line, Impel Down. She had been regretting all her decisions during those last few days, she tried to protect her friends only to put them in harm's way, she should have known that Luffy would go to any lengths necessary, but even he couldn't come all the way here.

Robin did not know why she was actually kept alive but knew that the world government had a plan for her of some sort. After burning down Ohara for their knowledge about the poneglyph language, the world government had put an incredible bounty on a then 9-year-old. She often wondered in the middle of all her running why they would do something like that.

After being brought tp impel down and stripped down of her clothing, Robin was given pair of striped shirt and pants which was the same as any other inmate of the prison. Though she was not sent down to the lower levels but kept in a special cell apart from the rest of the of the inmates.

The time just trickled away where the days turned into weeks and Robin just waited to find out what was the purpose that those who had ruined her life had for her.

Honestly just wanted to flex a little bit the creative juices while I rest during the holiday's before I go back into Alizthea. Nico Robin is definitely one of my characters of the Straw Hat Crew and maybe if there is some interest at some point I may give her a full inmate story, but for now it's just this small story since I was playing around with a request for someone.

This type of uniform is not my favorite but just wanted to see if I could do it.
