Toby had always been one of my favorite Thomas characters just like Edward Gordon Henry BoCo and many more actually Toby is my fifth favorite character However I prefer his railway series counterpart then his CGI counterpart in his later series counterpart The reason why I love Toby‘s Railway series counterpart is because of his personality and his color that start with his color first I’ve always loved his chocolate and blue livery it suits him very well then his brown and gray livery I don’t have a problem with Toby staying brown and gray in the TV series The reason why I love him being chocolate and blue was because it makes them more colorful wasand brown and gray makes him look dull and boring
now let’s to his personality Railwayseries Toby is a wise kind wide-eyed grandpa that doesn’t give a crap he doesn’t care what people think he is and he always rolls eyes when people think he’s too old CGI Toby on the other hand the creators made him more of a coward than a wide eyed grandpa toby in CGI and series 8 to 16 in the CGI series and the model series May Toby always scared and worried all the time which is unrealistic to the true Toby at least heart of gold from season 24(God I hate that season) made Toby all right however Wilbert Awdry the real creator of Thomas We’ll always make Toby our Toby we know and love unlike CGI
