Ah, so good! For some reason, I just had an image in my head combining this and Tribes in a huge multiplayer universe game and what it would look like. It's about time this game and Tribes had a resurgence!

It got canceled at first because it was suppose to be a expansion pack for Tribes: Vengeance and kinda fell apart after that game flopped.

Arc told me there were major disagreements on switching engines. Is there anybody that was on that team with a DA or a website?

Yeah it was all the set backs and people changes and also Vengeance was a flop and we were suppose to been a expansion pack for that. 
I have not talked to the 2845 crew for a long time. I lost touch with most except the best skinner in Tribes and that would be...Trinity, he goes by Cyclodextrose here on DA, but he hasn't been around for awhile. [link] He has been in the gaming arts still.

omg it's been so long since I've played the game, so it's good to see some mechs again
I don't remember much, but could this be a bit like a sized-down Olympus-type mech...? then again, it could have been in the game, for all I know

I have the site on my bookmarks but its been a while.
Did play the original SS games but I did not like them due to gameplay issues, liked the Mechwarrior series better.
