Maybe, I'm not fan of RE series
The first RE game I've played was 4th
Damn it was strange. You can't play the game in HD or FullHD resolution. Mouse isn't working. Some strange buttons with numbers in the QTE instead of an actual buttons that the game were using. But the game itself was fun to play. The modern Steam version is much better

its pretty good! I'd suggest playing through them except maybe, 5, 6, 0, dead aim & survivor, those arent the best horror wise, 5 & 6 where still kinda fun well atleast Mercenaries mode!

It's too late. I've already beaten 5 and played 6 for some time. I have RE 1 and 0 remakes on my Steam library,still haven't played them tho

Didn't played Revelations, but I don't think that a little reference could be counted as a canon
Otherwise you are risking to end up as a folks which is believing that The Elder Scrolls and Fallout is the same universe just because of the Fallout reference in Skyrim, if I remember correctly.

I'd say its a pretty big & important reference, Moira complains about the Claire sandwich comment made by Berry back in RE1 which only happens & could happen in Jill's do to the way things play out in each scenario.

oh dont get me wrong I like Chris over all as a charcter I just think he is terribly over used & over rated & that bothers me cuz Capcom tossing him in the spotlight all the time of recent years takes away the chance to catch up with & explore other beloved & better characters over all Like Jill, Rebecca, Berry, Sherry, HUNK, Claire. I mean Jesus Chris has been inΒ 4 mainstream titles in a row pretty much! :/ put him on the back burner for a few games or let the poor guy retire! lol XD& Leon is better but not by much atm cuz they basically turned him into a more skilled ver of RE6 Chris with him being a alcoholic now, they need to make him more like he used to be in RE4 a charming smart ass! not a brooding generic badass.
