イレギオン/IregionMan did they start X4 off RIGHT! Such a great opening boss. I love how he pops up initially in the intro stage. Has his own theme at the end of the 2nd act, and I'd say it's well deserved. Really superb design, excellent spritework, and good variety of attacks. X4 was really a superb installment.
This was fun to recolor, much more challenging to arrange. His 1st in the background (and in front of the foreground) actually uses a different palette than his 2nd appearance (boss fight) so to preserve colors I had initially split this into 3 www.deviantart.com/zero-w/art/… www.deviantart.com/zero-w/art/… www.deviantart.com/zero-w/art/…
but then I was like, "nah, nobody except me cares, I'll just let photoshop do whatever to blend the colors down to 256." :<
