ホイール・アリゲイツ/Wheel Alligates

One of my favorite designs, oh boy this was a fun one. And his Megamissions palette was really JUST a palette (except for his spinning move, but whatevs).
With a single color dominating the sprite, it makes it really easy to recolor, even though his gold and orange bleed into each other (still not hard to work with). I'm sure I'll circle back to this dude someday to make another 3, but Flame Stag ate into my head-start.
I think the biggest mis-step with this dude is how much time he spends OFF SCREEN. Even when he pops up, so much of him is obscured by the oil in his room. Odd choice. Makes me wonder if they hadn't cracked how to make those kinds of waves w/ semi-transparency? Well they did for Yoshi's Island (a big fave for so many reasons).
