The man with the plan, the mad reploid researcher Gate! Is it doctor Gate? I guess not.
But anyway, even before he was driven mad by... some residual Zero virus? apparently he was justifiably embittered because all 8 of his "investigators" had been conspiratorially murdered in awful ways, as revealed by Alia after defeating each one, giving her a VERY Nina Purpleton vibe in my opinion.

I just hate how he can't be damaged except by his own inoojee... just lame as hell.

Well, this was quite a challenge to arrange, most of all because of all the pretty pretty colors, as you might guess. Amazingly, once I was finished with his alts, the whole thing was 210 colors including the transparency. Not what I was guessing at all.
Now I absolutely cheated a whole bunch, the light blue and dark purple energy ball things all use the colors of Gate's white/blue and his normal purple color. So it's *possible* that those would be getting recolored, but I'm thinking it's most likely that they use separate palettes which simply make use of the same colors. I honestly don't know, but the Playstation had some powa behind it; this is doable.

Also, I understand that his voice actor passed away recently. I sincerely believe that his voice acting was the best in the game by far, he really knocked the expressiveness of the character out of the park.
