yeah, it's not like I never did canon characters, but they were with OCs, or sketches...
This may not be a big deal for you, but for me it is! I see plenty of commissioned fanarts, and I always wondered "how do they do?!". Now I know too how it feels like.
I've never played RE - I can't even, horror games skyrocket my heartbeat rate like there's no tomorrow, but I still can watch someone else play them and that's exactly what I did u_u (I'm doing, actually, haven't finished yet)
Now I wonder: how would a chibi licker look like? Would it be cute or creepy? xD
